Easy Pan-Seared Chicken Breasts

Ingredients
  • 4 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless) 
  • ½ cup flour
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
  1. Paper towel dry the chicken. In a large bowl, combine flour, black pepper, garlic powder, salt, onion powder and Italian Seasoning. Stir well to blend. 
  2. Using a fork to coat the chicken breasts in the flour mixture and set aside. 
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the skillet is hot, place flour coated chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 4 - 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, turning once between cooking, about 8-10 minutes. 
  4. Remove chicken from pan and serve warm with pasta or vegetables.
